Primary Purpose

This position has responsibility for the setting and  driving strategic direction, and  executing the following  areas: · Project Management Office, which is accountable for governance, oversight and  support of significant Human Resource Projects, strategy, use of data analytics, business planning, communication and  change management associated with growing and sustaining the strategic business partner mindset · Investigating, evaluating, developing, and  maintaining new and  revised work practices and  tools used by Human Resource personnel, with the goal of increasing functional efficiency and effectiveness. · Communication for the organization responsible for ensuring standard messaging and  dissemination of HR and  Leadership information within the HR function and  across the enterprise · Advocacy of and  support for ongoing shift  to strategic business partner mindset and  model in HR · Continuous Business Process Improvement, which identifies and
improves the cross-department and  cross-company processes that  drive improved processes, performance, and  effectiveness.

Primary Duties and Accountabilities

Directs personnel, provides guidance, mentoring and  support to Strategy & Effectiveness PMO team and  activities           [10%]
continuously seeks and  evaluates developmental assignments to improve employees business acumen and  increase departmental bench strength

Primary accountability for governance and  oversight of HR’s PMO personnel and  process. Oversees ongoing project        [15%]
discipline and  effectiveness to ensure successful completion and  adherence to PMO process; manages the process to engage the HR Executive Team to discuss and  approve annual initiatives and  gains commitment of necessary resources to execute them. Sustains the applicability and  integrity  of the process over time.

Lead development of Strategic Business Partner Center of Expertise within the PMO, serving as lead  advocate of the         [30%]
SBP mindset shift  for the organization and  providing oversight and  execution of ongoing communication and  change management plans. Monitors, raises awareness, adjusts and  communicates necessary steps to ensure evolution and sustainability using a strong focus on data analytics.  Manage the formation and  ongoing development of communities of practice or other mechanisms to enable client learning and  growth,  in support of sustained change. Identifies and advocates for best practice initiatives. 

Interfaces with the business units, all HR departments and COEs to promote and  manage the resources required to initiate, develop,       [15%]
and  implement work practices, procedures, tools and  equipment that  focus on enhanced processes, increased value to clients and  increased productivity.

Assist CHRO and leadership team with compliance, strategy development and execution, compliance governance, oversight, coordination [20%]
of all functional areas under Human Resources.

Directs ongoing evaluation of the PMO performance; HR organization’s training and continuous improvement.         [10%]
 

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in organizational development, finance, HR, business, or related discipline.
  • Must  possess the following:  8 or more years of relevant experience At least 5 years’ experience managing in a human resources or related functional team.
  • Ability to challenge status quo and  be comfortable with being  challenged. Experience with process improvement, data analytics, finance and project management. Have a questioning attitude.
  • Not afraid to question unfamiliar territories. Self-starter that  can  either  work with a team or independently to drive results.
  • Clear understanding of management point-of-view and  expectations.
  • Ability to distill information to critical  points and  convey in a manner consistent with executive mindset. Proven ability to work with Executives/Third Parties and Board preparation desired.  
  • •    Ability to learn  on the fly. Learns quickly when  facing new problems.
  • Ability to adapt to new or changing conditions. Active listener. 
  • Ability to be objective.
  • Strong interpersonal skills. Must  be able  to communicate (verbally and  written) to all levels  in the organization. Ability to build appropriate rapport; diplomacy and  tact;  can  diffuse even  high-tension situations comfortably. Demonstrated leadership ability to deliver results and  build and  drive a team in a high performance culture.
  • Ability to develop communications for executive leadership audiences Proven ability to influence at all levels  of the organization.
  • Proven high-level  management skills in coaching and  facilitating business competency.
  • Demonstrated success in leading large  projects and  providing guidance to project teams as PM Demonstrated business acumen, customer awareness and  ability to create value.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in organization development or behavior, business or related field is desirable

Job Scope

  • Overall accountability for HR’s PMO Process
  • Overall accountability for HR Communications.
  • Responsible to proactively interfacing with the COE departments and  HR Leadership to identify  the resources required to develop and  implement processes that  drive continuous and  sustainable improvement in functional and  employee effectiveness.
  • This position has direct  reports and  manages an overall team of 4 employees.
  • This position must effectively interact and  communicate with HR leadership and  employees at all levels  of the organization.
