    PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

    The Generation Strategy group is seeking a Principal to join our Business Performance & Analytics team in support of Constellation’s retail business. The team works closely with various parts of the organization including Sales, Operations, Credit, and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and is responsible for measuring business performance and providing analytic  support of C&I Power, C&I Gas, and Distributed Energy / Efficiency Made Easy sales strategies.  
    The position will be involved in the development of Long-Range Planning (LRP) assumptions, sales team targets, commissions, and strategic initiatives. The role and team are also responsible for monitoring and leveraging large data repositories for retail power and gas, as well as leveraging data from additional sources to drive new sales and customer insights.
 

    PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

    1        LRP Support – Plan and Quota development
    2        Sales Leadership support
    3        Analysis and Strategy Development
 

 

 

Qualifications

   POSITION SPECIFICATIONS 

    Minimum:
•    4-Yr relevant Degree and a minimum 6-8 years of Industry/ related experience
•    Self-Starter with ability to identify issues and opportunities within the business and develop relevant and impactful analysis. 
•    Demonstrated ability to Problem solve using Quantitative and Qualitative Analytic Skills.
•    Demonstrated SQL Skills to pull data from Various database including SQL Server and Oracle.  
•    Proven written and oral communication skills to translate analysis into key messages, develop the story behind the insights and findings, and present it to wide variety of audiences from sales support to executive leadership.
•    Ability to initiate and grow relationships outside of the Business Performance & Analytics group.

 

    Preferred:
    Master’s Degree in Business. 
    Successful candidate will be highly motivated with a steep learning curve and a desire to succeed.
