The Gas Senior Portfolio Manager role supports financially disciplined growth of the retail gas business through the aggregation of risk in the retail gas business. The Senior Portfolio Manager will have a thorough understanding of the sales, pricing, portfolio management, and operations organizations to ensure accurate representation of gas risk.

This position can be filled in Louisville, Baltimore, Houston, or De Pere.



Responsible for managing and modeling risk aspects of existing products sold by the Mass Markets retail gas businesses. This risk will be fed to Trading to manage.  Review day-over-day changes to the Mass Markets retail gas portfolio to ensure accurate positions.


- Coordinate with Structuring and FP&A teams to review and improve forecasting of usage and revenue related to the Mass Markets retail gas business.  Coordinate with the Pricing team to improve the modeling of forward costs related to the Mass Markets retail gas business.

- Support product and services expansion in new and existing markets, ensuring accurate modeling and management of the risk of these new products.

-Responsible for leading cross functional teams to implement enhancements in the systems including pricing, billing, and wholesale systems as well as developing business processes to support the new development.




-Undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Math, and/or Information Technologies.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of related experience in finance, energy services, or risk management field.
- Strong organization and communication skills with a proven track record of project management.
-Demonstrates decision making capabilities coupled with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, problem-solving, and independent decision-making.
- Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to compare large datasets in either SQL or Excel.
- Ability to travel as required.

- Advanced Degree
- Natural Gas Industry background
- SQL experience or other query/programming language
