This position is responsible for administering the Risk Compliance processes for the commercial business to ensure adherence to established Risk Management and Legal/Regulatory policies and procedures. This role is vital to ensuring that all risks are properly identified, monitored and reported on a consistent and timely basis.  The Analyst, Risk Compliance is responsible for assisting in the analysis of monitoring screens developed to identify potential regulatory issues in relation to commodity transactions entered into by the commercial business.  This position also performs processes to ensure that Exelon adheres to the various Dodd Frank, REMIT and EMIR requirements and the FERC’s Electronic Quarterly Report (EQR).  
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES (means principal, main, major or most important duties / accountabilities that the employee performs) 
1. Ensure compliance with Dodd Frank, REMIT and EMIR regulations. 

2. Analysis of monitoring screens developed to identify potential regulatory issues.

3. Prepare presentation for the weekly Trader Surveillance meeting with Legal and other special/ad hoc analysis for various management meetings.  

4. Ensure compliance with the FERC EQR reporting requirements.  

5. Support the growth of the business by developing new processes and monitoring screens.  

6. Participate in the development and implementation of risk policies and procedures. 


 Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Business required.  
 3 -5 years of experience in a business related position.  
 Strong organizational and verbal communication skills.  
 Strong math and analytical skills with attention to detail.  
 Ability to develop spreadsheet applications and learn other specialized software products.  
 Demonstrated ability to work closely with peers in a teamwork environment.  



Experience with financial or energy markets preferred.




•Reports to the Manager Risk Compliance
•Coordinates closely with Commercial, Legal Regulatory and other risk teams
•Identifies key risks in the business to help avoid substantial losses and surprises

As a key member of the Risk Management function, this position will require a thorough attention to detail and offer an opportunity for the employee to gain a thorough understanding of the physical and financial products offered by the Company, as well as, the marketplace in which it transacts. This job is integral to ensuring that the Constellation transactions are recorded correctly in support of the monthly settlement, financial close and auditing processes.
