Responsible for providing technical expertise in support of performing engineering problem solving activities. Possesses a high degree of knowledge in functional discipline and its practical application.

  • Perform tasks associated with the design, development, and generation of software tools for existing codes and methods.
  • Perform nuclear engineering and technical tasks in support of nuclear plant operations.
  • Support nuclear engineering work functions.
  • Participate in the implementation of effective processes and techniques at appropriate levels of detail and in compliance with established programs, policies and procedures.

  • Performs introductory level nuclear engineering technical tasks
  • Works independently with some supervisory oversight.
  • Must be able to collect data from the field, interpret and incorporate the information into applicable databases and documents
  • Prepare nuclear fuels engineering analysis under supervision


  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (i.e., Computer Science, Computer Science Engrg, Engineering Technology) and 0-2 years’ experience; OR
  • Associates Degree and 2 years technical experience; OR
  • High School Diploma and a minimum of 2 years directly applicable engineering experience.
  • Working knowledge of engineering processes and systems required for the specific functional area

  • Computer science experience
